Formula

Reading time is calculated by dividing the total word count by your reading speed in words per minute (WPM):

Reading Time (minutes) = Word Count ÷ Words Per Minute

For example, a 1,920-word article at 225 WPM takes 1,920 ÷ 225 = 8.53 minutes, or 8 minutes 32 seconds.
